Did our abuse, harm and neglect for these lands begin with such a passion and love? Have we all gone mad in our rape of the planet?

...And the green island beach was so beautiful

That the man walked along in aged circles, forever and ever.


The placid rhythm of his mint heart, in time

With the beat of the bellowing waves - pounding.


Lonely. Except for sight of his own trails

In the sand - and his reflection in the sea -


Though content that the island and each vision

Of blue, green and gold was no other man's. His...
