IN THE GARDEN...AGAIN!

IN THE GARDEN...AGAIN!

A Poem by Patricia L. Allen

This poem appears in both my published books...a personal literary signature of sorts.

Searching a Garden

Clinging to dreams

Standing a promise

Thirsting for streams

THERE--off in the distance
A vision comes clear
Fresh falls to quench in
Never minding the fear

To return is remembered
Taking no thought to doubt
Retracing each footstep
Though others reroute

The curse has been lifted
With welcome and waves
It's back to the Garden
Where bliss sings in praise

The trees hum their magic
The fields lure and prance
All lovers are flocking
In splendorous dance

Ignore all the gossip
Throw caution a curve
Rejoice in the moment
Use courage to serve

The Lover is Master

As Divinity takes charge

Evil seen as illusion

It was just a mirage

Full circle has closure

New ventures begin

All lovers are virgins

In the Garden again!

This, like everything you write, is of sheer bliss. The words flow through your veins through the tip of your pen as it pours onto paper....or in this case, computer screen. You have much talent, and I for one, am very excited to have met you....and be granted the chance to get to know the author you truly are. You are a wonderful creator of beauty. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for joining the site! It's great to have you here at the cafe!!
