Diwali Festival

Diwali Festival

A Poem by Uday Patel
"

A poem on Diwali and why it is celebrated? Know the central characters Rama and Sita.

"
Fourteen Years of Grime in Exile
The Heir Returns to Kingdom Fine
Lord Rama Laxman & Site Divine
Brave King of Avadh, The Righteous & Kind

An Epic Battle Tumultous in Land Exotic
A Powerful Tyrant Ravana Usurper of Sita Honorable
The End Gruesome, The Evil Vanquished
Lord Rama Returns From Exile Victorious

The Prince Arrives Amid Celebrations
Ayodhya Lights Up, Fireworks & Lamps Flicker
Cracker Resound With Deafening Blasts
Sweets & Feasts Galore As Joy Abounds

That Day is Diwali, Auspicious Day
Marks Victory Over Evil & Conceit
Be Righteous! Be Just! Do Not Sin
Follow Rama The Just King
