Very dark, very amazingly placed...Every word slides perfectly like an ice cube on...well....ice..lol Very Trent Reznor, Ville Valo, maybe even Maynard, or possibly Corey Taylor....Needless to say, I think they would all be proud of these lyrics for a song.....In fact these would impress even some of the greater song writers...But not Ben Burnley, he's not impressed by anything that isn't his...Of course thats why the rest of his band members hated him and they broke up...Anyways....I think I've said it well enough...Great job Patch

lol. I use to listen to a lot of the bands that you mentioned. Now that you mentioned it, it does kind-of go with their styles and flow. I am trying to stray from that though. I mean, I could write a million songs, but I would rather be writing poetry. Thank you for the review!

Yeah but ya know what.....Its alot easier to sell a great song!!! So many of these big bands anymore have their agents look for songs, they buy them off the writer and then call them their own...I know its a huge lie and it sucks but thats the corruption of celebrity.

Loved the realism in this poem - your words are strong and precise and the repetition of phrases add to their energy. This would be a great lyric but works just as well as a poem I think. Lends itself to being read aloud . Great writing.
