Trojans and Wildcats

Trojans and Wildcats

A Poem by We May Well Be The Ones
"

this is actually a song I wrote during a USC and Arizona football game.

"

we die in this warm skin

and we're naked

and we're shakin'

now we're makin' our way home again

and now our hands will go to god

we sink in this quick sand

palms to hands

more smiles than a million friends who'll never leave your side

where love acts as your sunlight

and we'll see our lives

as painting in the clouds

and we'll speak in vowels

to help depict these times

we die as new people

we've lost and grown

and found new hope

and so we'll smile and our dreams will make things right

we'll close our eyes and finally say goodbye
