we held an intimate gaze, but saw different visions

we held an intimate gaze, but saw different visions

A Poem by a pas-tel tin/ted sur_reality
"

/everything seems so familiar/

"
I walked with him
I held his hand and looked him in the
Eyes and he told me that everything
Was alright and that I don't need to
Worry about him but I knew that in
Reality he was suffering

she walked with me
she hed my hand and looked me in
the eyes with that terrible sadness
and worry so i said that everything
was alright just so that i could stop
hurting her even if just for a moment

I like this a lot! Short but sweet - and I like how the first and second stanzas relate closely to each other (that being said, I have a weakness for writing that sort of thing or switching views in poems/poem series - just as I have a weakness for not using the shift key too :P)

Some feedback - picked up a typo in the second stanza, 'hed' should be 'held', I believe. Personally, I'd suggest that you're more consistent with your capitalisation (or lack, thereof), and either always or never use capitals - though that's just me personally, I understand if it's a personal style or aesthetic choice.

I'd also try to adjust the second and third lines of each stanza to reflect each other better (example - in case that didn't make sense):

'I held his hand and looked him in the
Eyes and and he told me that everything'
'She held my hand and looked me in the
Eyes with that terrible sadness'

or alternatively,

'I held his hand and looked him in
The eyes and and he told me that everything'
'She held my hand and looked me in
The eyes with that terrible sadness'

Again, just a suggestion, take it as you wish! A lovely read though, I enjoyed it very much.
