a little respiteA Poem by a pas-tel tin/ted sur_realityi really love the concept of strumming a guitar while looking over a beautiful scenery and only being able to cry for your loved onei sit out on a balcony, overlooking a sparkling river that has carved its way through hills the guitar in my hands sorrowfully cries i look up to the sky a bright, open, free sky that i have never seen before i feel tears as sparkling as that river gather behind my eyes i lower my head, letting out a quiet cry i live in a free world in which my happiness is not certain, but everyone else's is and i am happy for that, i have given so much for the happiness of others but there's a dark cloud hanging over my heart, one made of selfishness and greed i hate to admit it, but i need you by my side i need to hold you, and i need to see you smiling and not a fake smile, constructed into a mask that you've hiden behind for years a real smile, a smile that betrays your supposedly "cold" eyes i've never looked into your eyes with anything other than admiration and love i strum my guitar
