Mid-Night Clear

Mid-Night Clear

A Poem by Patricia Ponce

Strolls amidst midnight clear
met cobalt's veer
barely sure footed
gingerly skipping moonbeams'... quite deluded

now yesteryear
eagerly bids good cheer
come the 'morrow
in adieus' starry strung the sorrow

kick of the can and
a partake of candy a land
peeked the dawn
said magic, won

Novocain
strolls... amidst midnight, clear a vein
