The gain of loss.

Fought so hard for your heart to stay. 

You've left me down on my knees to pray. 

9 months away, I thought just maybe there was a chance.

That if I took a risk it could last.

I hung by every word...

And even after all these years of knowing you.

All the tears you've caused.

The fear of night after night, knowing I'm not the only one. 

I've found the gain in this loss. 

Maybe I wont love another guy again.

Maybe all my trust is broken.

But I've gained someone I had once lost.

Someone you should have never been worth loosing for.

And though I doubt the pain will fade. 

Everyday I'm finding a way. 

To live and love and smile. 

Without you in my life.
