Slipping back

Slipping back

A Poem by We are young.
"

My biggest fear...

"
Ever cut yourself on your own shattered heart?
Does your soul lie in the morgue?
How do you live without the person who makes you feel alive?
Have you ever cried so hard that you pray for the pain to numb?
Oh what?
I'm not good enough for you now?
I feel so empty,
so in complete.
How could one lie so well?
This bottomless pit engulfs me.
I've been fed insecurity
with a dose of fate.
This is where I belong.
Because of you, I slip back into the darkness.
The place I fought so hard to get away from.
What will I learn from this...
I'll struggle to find it.
I don't want to breathe
sleep
eat
think
be
without you.
