Take me back to when me and you were best friends. 

When I was so immature.

Knew nothing about life, 

Take me back to a time where I learned to laugh. 

Where you helped make my humor. 

When you taught me how to love. 

Just please rewind,

I'd go through the pain all over again. 

Just to live through those few moments we had. 

Take me back to when everything feel apart,

When I had hope everything would be alright. 

Take me back to when we cried together, 

Laughed together, to when we made promises and didn't break them

With another. 

Take me back when friends meant everything. 

But most of all take me back to that summer, 

When all three of us were just friends. 

We could laugh all day, no jealousy. 

When we could be nothing more than friends. 

And be happy with it. 

Take me back... I'd risk it all.

Oh, so many can relate to this longing to return to the joy.. the love.. the laughter that was once experienced... You have created a beautiful remembrance, sadly moving, yet gripping and real. Wonderful and deep.
