Small Town, Big dreams.

Small Town, Big dreams.

A Poem by We are young.
"

Inspired by agreat writer and kind friend Craig, Froman.

"

I walk the streets, they seem so dead.

Endless mountains overhead.

I see no life here.

I see no joy.

Nobody thinks the way I do here.

They don't dress like me.

Their dreams don't go past farming.

I have dreams of city lights.

Of traffic jams

and perfect nights.

My dreams stretch far

but not as far as my imagination.

Small town.

Big dreams.

Nothing here is what it seems.

I plan to escape so far, far away.

And live a life of adventure.

Become an author

an editor

maye even a journalist.

I want to see so very many things.

Live everyday like it's my last.

But they make it so hard here.

They judge me by my silly dreams.

Saying I'll never make it.

But I don't see what they mean.

I have the will

and I have the soul.

Small town

Big dreams.

I believe life holds a lot for me.
