Shattered Broken Alone.

Shattered Broken Alone.

A Poem by We are young.

Shattered.

Broken.

She stays in the dark.

Laughing.

Loving.

Is just not what she does.

In her eyes sunsets, they settle grey.

She belives theres no hope for a new day.

Her thoughts are scarred.

But so are her arms.

No comfort needed just leave her alone.

Shes all in the dark.

Can't find her way home.

Thoghts of suicide.

They dance through her head

Whisperng softly.

"You should be dead"

She wont take much more.

Yet she can't end her life.

Why would she even do that?

She can't take that sacrafice.

She has friends who are praying.

Hoping she'll suvive.

Because if she dies tonight.

She kills three other lives.

This is powerfully moving. You bring alive the pain and isolation of living on the edge. This was a portrait of me for too many years. Excellent write!

Woah, I love this.
Every word reads so powerful.
Though it comes off as sad and dark, I think it's very beautiful.
Great job on this! :)
Also, this may sound odd, but reading this reminds me of my character in the new book I just started writing.
