Summer nights

Summer nights

A Poem by We are young.

Summer nights

Crystal lights shine above

a warm breeze engulfs me

I get this feeling of freedom

of enthusiasm

of happiness.

There is no disturbance near me.

I cant hear a thing.

I feel safe and at home.

As I look above enjoying the summer night

I see more than just the stars.

Its not the glitterying diamons which litter the sky

Nor the moon that lights the blackened soul inside of me.

I see memories dancing in the sky

They wither around, and enter my mind

They are only good memories.

They taint my sorrowed soul

They let me get ready for the morning ahead.

To know that there is hope.

And it was only found in a summer sky.
