DissapearA Poem by We are young. This poem is based on a real life event.Sitting on this floor soaked in tears Wondering if you will ever care. You yell at me and tell me to dissapear. Do you really hear what I am asking of you? I hate to blame But look what you've put me through! Mother I know you hear me Why do you not care? You say you give me happiness Why do I not feel it then Why are these scars so hidden if you know me so well? Tell me oh sweet mother what have you done for me? You gave me life, the life that you ruined for me. If you cared you wouldn't take me away. I love you both! and now your making me choose? You dont know me at all You say its better now that I am quiet But maybe you just stopped listening to my worried pleads. oh mother look what you have done to me. I appreciate life, and I would appreciate you if only you tried just a little bit harder. you say you love me, but you dont love the way I act, the way I dress, or my friends Well that is the only freedom I have away from you and those are my everythings so I guess you don't have to love me not for the time i'm stuck here, but dont make life harder. Your not helping any one. I like it better with dad, and I will stay with him. I won't tell you why, only because I've been telling you all along and if you've really listened then you should already know.
