Anti-Valentine

Anti-Valentine

A Poem by We are young.

Anti Valentine.

Swing sets rock back and fourt.

you touch my hand and I touch yours.

I feel your breath and you feel mine.

Too bad your my anti Valentine.

Black lipstick marks litter your face, and tattooed on my back is your name.

Black bracelets of love and hate mixed together, cover your arms.

Hiding the pain within the scars, you grab my hand, and together I know we can make it through this world

With black wings and petrified smiles, we walk through the doors of life, hand in hand fingernails black, and always getting laughed at.

But you will always be mine. My anti- Valentine.

Interesting. Bold, dark imagery.
