I found hope

finally a semi happy poem.

I was confuesd at first.

Hesitant to trust.

To many tires, and so many lies I have been through.

I find it impossible to trust.

After just a short period of time, I found hope.

No backstabbing?

No hate?

was this how it was supposed to be?

Or was this just  another fake, just trying to gain my trust?

As my brain thought these things, I began to feel guilt.

Why would I think such things of you?

And thats how I knew that this was not another prep here to judge me or a friend to only use me.

This was a best friend.

And I had found hope.

We laugh together

We cry together.

I now have no fears, because I know no matter who betrays me.

Or who dies now, or what else is going on.

I have always found hope in you.

I don't know how you did it, gained my trust, and gave me hope.

But I swear you are my guardian angel here to save my life.

Like this piece, alot. The third line should read "Tries or Try's" I think. Easy fix. Be true to thyself and trust no one until they prove their sincerity. I like your openness and the fact that you show some heart in this.

I believe there are certain people in this world who are guardian angels to some.. special people who can sense the lonely and give them hope... no one should have to power to depress someone or make them feel down.. I love the fact that you recognize this person in such a positive manner and beautifully written.. thank you for sharing... just remember one good deed deserves another.. if you see someone down and out.. help them too.. as if everyone has that 1 great friend.. this world will be a much better place!!!
