The things you said

The things you said

A Poem by We are young.
"

It starts off bad, but gets better.. I think

"

all these things you said they are running through my head and, I feel your screams your agony. The lies that you threw at me I lay here in bed I feel like I am dead but I still feel pain I wish you would leave me alone, and just get out of my life instead of staying. now all I hear is your selfish words on reapeat again and again in my head. I want to cry but the tears are dry, and they are nothing but worthless sorrows when will you see what you are doing to me, and see all the things you said.

Feeling the pain in this one as I know first hand how damaging words can be. I like the block form as well and I see that you started and ended with the title. Cool

Driving hard in the mind and soul, pounding thoughts of pain, fear, anxiety... Your words capture the world of words striking the heart!

A painful read. Good job.

I think it does get better towards the end, but it's good all the way through. I like how it's sort of...mushed into a block, it makes it feel kind of panicky and adds to the tone =)
You're really good at writing depressing peices :)
Good job on this.

I have felt this and it is extremely difficult to get some thoughts out of your head. People who study meditation and enlightenment call these "monkey" thoughts. I was told by a friend that physiologically, the synapse region of the brain ( where nerve impulses are transmitted and received) is unable to retain thoughts for more than a year. Also, what I have read about grief is that the intense grieving period does not last beyond 10 months. I guess all this is the basis for "time heals all wounds." Best, Hattie

P.S. On the subject of your bio, as a musician I would ask you to reconsider your "hate" for country music. Every genre has beautiful music. It has also been said that hate is a form of love. The opposite of love is indifference.

This is sad but I really like it. One of the best lessons I learned is that no one can make you sad unless you allow them to. Good job and I like how this blends.
