Simple-worded comments

Simple-worded comments

A Poem by Pâro

There is a certain type of beauty in simplicity
But sometimes
The simple-worded comments that I offer
Just don't say enough

There are endless things I could say to you
And endless ways I could express them
But so far
I still haven't found how to tell you
That you have my whole heart in your hands
And my whole life to claim as your own

It always comes back to three words,
Though,
But how does one define
What my love is for you
When I would do anything to bottle it up
And lock it away
Just to make sure it never slips out of my grasp

Because if you leave
What left will I have?
Not a broken heart, no
Because you already have the whole
