Solitude of Twoness

Solitude of Twoness

A Poem by Pâro

I can still feel you;

the irrepressible trace

of ethereal touch

and the calm mellifluous flow

of your fragile words.

My soul aches for you;

the ineffable warm caress

of love on my tongue

and the solitude in twoness

of our midday tryst.

This fresco of fragmented emotion

clings to the background

of every irrelative thought

but as my heart will sooner confess

it is not an adverse circumstance
