Geometry

Geometry

A Poem by parker

I don't like planes.
I don't like that they
Stretch
On and on forever.
I don't like knowing
That there's never an end,
No place to turn back.

I don't like lines.
I don't like that they're
Stronger
Than the force I could apply.
I don't like knowing
That they can't be bent or broken,
They just stay there
Between things.

But I do like circles.
I like how they
Flow
And never stop anywhere.
I like knowing
That what goes will come back,
Eventually, to the beginning.

So don't tell me this is a plane.
Don't tell me there are lines
Stationary
Between you and me.
No, I know this is a circle.
The farther you go away,
The closer you are to me.
