Broken Vessel

Broken Vessel

A Poem by parker

If I could drain the weakness
That flows fast through my veins,
I would tear open my skin
With my own teeth and nails.

Perhaps that is a weakness too.

Might as well as one more
To my ever growing collection

It would be nice if they would disappear
As I learn more about myself,
But all I seem to learn
Is that there are more hidden away
In every place I look.

It's time to sharpen my fangs
And let the blood flow.

The feeling of weakness can really be crushing and you encapsulated it well in your poem
