Chapter 2

Chapter 2

A Chapter by Miu
"

She fell in love with him.

"

She didn’t lie. I learned that later. She truly was fond of me and I could never change that. I didn’t learn the truth till about after a year of knowing that she could see the true me.

We were walking home from school together. She wanted to walk threw the park, so, to please her, I said that I would walk with her. We walked in silence; the only thing I could hear was her soft breathing and our footsteps: I was blocking out everything else.

She was in front of me before I knew what was going on. Her eyes bored into mine. She gave my shoulders a gentle push and I let her push me till I was sitting on a park bench. She leaned in till our noses were touching. Her lips were plastered to mine a few seconds later. My throat dried up in an instant and I couldn’t breathe. Then she pulled back and started to walk away.

The next day I asked if she could grant my wish. She told me she was far too fond of me, again. That didn’t surprise me. Not one bit.

Somehow, she was able to love a beast like me. Someone who wasn’t able to feel human emotions; she was able to love someone like that. For a second I started to reconsider my wish, but then I remembered that was what she wanted. I couldn’t let her win. I asked her to grant my wish everyday, but everyday I got the same answer back. I was going insane again. Slowly but surely. It scared me. She knew me too well and I knew next to nothing about her. She knew she was the master, and I was a slave. But it couldn’t even be that because she was so fond of me. There was nothing that could describe our relationship. We just were.

Maybe I should describe her to you; so you can have an understanding as to what I was dealing with.

She had short dark chocolate hair that flared out at the ends. It always looked fluffy and soft, it bothered me to no end. She was short but looked hollow; like she had not eaten anything in years. She always had a weary smile on her face that mocked you as you looked at her. She had stormy gray eyes that were very glass-like looking. Her pale skin never failed to grab one’s attention. And I honestly would love to tell you her name, I really would, but you shouldn’t get involved with this girl.

I would also tell you my name, but you also shouldn’t get involved with me either. Call us whatever name you would like, it won’t matter. This is just a story. But you can never know her name and my name; its for your own safety.

I will, however, tell you what I look like. I’m not very tall, just a few inches taller than her. I look like a normal boy; black hair, blue eyes, and skinny. Funny thing was that all the people who were in my classes could spot me in a crowd of 2000 people. They say my eyes are what give me away, according to them, my eyes are sad. Maybe haunting, or just depressing. It doesn’t matter though does it? Can you really tell how a person feels threw their eyes? Why weren’t they able to see the sadness that ran threw my veins? Why did they still laugh and smile at me, if my eyes were so sad? Why were they mocking me?

No name for your subject? Who is "she?"

I love it. The descriptions were very well written, and I got a good feel of what the boy was feeling.

I think I might end up calling them "Girl" and "Beast" or something. That's what popped into my mind when I was reading it.
