Life or a glass sphere?

Life or a glass sphere?

A Poem by PARISHMITA DAS
"

all of life we try our best to stay alive only to meet an unfortunate day and leave everyone to god.

"
Oh! How fragile life is.
Like water inside a glass sphere
exquisite, delicate, and crystal clear
yet inevitable to cracking, shattering and spilling
the self-molded ocean of mine inside it.

I can't keep it somewhere up,
it will fall and hit the concrete.
I can't keep it somewhere down,
it will roll and strike the hard-bricked wall.
My human hands are too careless
to hold it within the palms all throughout,
thought of keeping it safe inside a box
Oh! It's too dark, breathless and far
to be kept away from my eyes.

All of life went away to keep the life inside it safe,
every day, every hour spent to avoid the unsafe.
The glass sphere would break someday
and the water would disappear from seen to unseen,
the sphere would be gone, the water would be lost
so where did life go, what's with all the keeping after all?
Such a frail, unexpected, and a countdown to death creation.

Death is inevitable and so any day might be our last day. Human life is fragile and we do everything possible to keep ourselves safe and healthy. But it is sure to meet an unexpected day and hence, every day is like a countdown towards death.
