9 to 5 DEAD END

9 to 5 DEAD END

A Poem by paperplanespaper

I'm at my 9 to 5 sitting here,
no clues no cares
Mundane days leave me
dazed and confused
is it the weed?
or am i just tired from the dead end dues?
Dead end paychecks, working with dead end fools
bosses act like they run things when they don't even know the rules
working for these dead end paychecks
working with these dead end fools
I know I haven't proved it but I feel I'm destined for greatness
I don't like what I see, so I'ma change my views

Word of advice "Never live for any one, that wouldn't die for you"

I see your days are locked in sequence
I live by my mind eyne
You see the gloss, well thats not the fine wine,
that might be the weed or my mirror mind.
the passion that you see reflects the man I hope to be

Working hard, hardly
working for dead end paychecks working with dead end fools

dead end roads lead to dead end lives
so I run with scissors cutting all dead end ties
