Paper DaisiesA Poem by L
There's a field of paper daisies outside my house;
undoubtedly as real as I, yet strangers simply pass it by. The wind creates its colours as they sway, and they, with their beauty, seem to call the very day. Sometimes I wander wondering through it and know the world has nothing to it; among those paper daisies lie, knowing just that time goes by from the changing of the sky. Sometimes I see you passing by; silent, as if you fear that they'll draw near and steal the waking hope you feel like breath from your lips. As briefly your gaze slips my heart skips; eyes reflecting only you for maybe, just maybe, you can see it too
