Hurt

This is my first poem and it's about my first breakup and how I also lost contact with my best friend. It's a silly poem and it's not the best, but I just wanted to share my poetry /~

Hurt

I was hurt once.

I won't let it happen again.

It was something unexpected;

Something I couldn't comprehend.

I could imagine our future

I had big dreams

But we didn't want the same things

It seems.

The feeling was strong

A pain so deep.

Like a cut with a scar that made me weep.

I've bandaged that cut

I've built a barrier

So I don't get hurt again,

And I can be happier.
