Dim

Dim

A Poem by Jamie Wilkinson
"

Thinking about slow music and hazy lights.

"

The heavy static hum that coats eardrums

with listless hues of hazy neon lights,

Muffled footsteps lulling you to sink in

to a statically charged faux fur parka,

Such warm, warm reverberating murmurs

pulling the brainstem under thick mud,

Downward into white peppermint perfumes

lingering in an opaque atmosphere.
