The last journeyA Poem by Pankaj Lohiathe life upon death and the journey of the soul there after... This is not really a poem.. just my thoughts of life and death. I didnt really want to publish it but i did it anyway.the room echoed of loud cries as the old man shut his eyes
freed from the bondages of life the soul rejoiced with ecstacy
standing in despair he thought would it be heaven or hell?
stuck in the crossroads the man had to pay for all his sins
as the book of his life reopened god examined each and every chapter
old man stood waiting for his destiny remembering the selfish life he led
heavenly walls had engraved the rule of law no man can cease to rebirth if found flawed
a man with no goodness in life no kidness, no humanity, no charity
oh what a meaningless life it be with no love, no devotion
one has to fall within themselves to rise for the truth lies inside you
when a man falls outside he merely falls everything he sees is a mere illusion
a soul shall be pure and divine only then can it enter heaven
heaven is a state of eternal bliss a place only for the realised souls
the man stood beleagured knowing what lay ahead
he was sent back to relive the painful life to redeem his soul, continue his journey © 2013 Pankaj LohiaReviews
