Noir Nobility

Noir Nobility

A Poem by robin
"

Fun with enchantment and forests of Night!

"

Noir Nobility

Bough down

on bent knee

Her Majesty

extends the Horizon,

branches a span of stars,

a Green Jade Milky Way.

Tripping on moonbeams

diving her deepest

blue ocean eyes,

Galactic Colossal Serpentina,

inverted ascendance

downward spiraling

futile reluctance beaming…

“Hey Bud”

IT slivers

coolly forward

from ear to ear

“The leaves waving

back and forth

is the Mind Moving

thoughts into Forms”

YOUR thoughts

shiver away Away

to a FaR aWay…

Knotty Haughty Moon’s

Zen cries

“Are you my Apple?”

Nay, I have not

Wood for a Fruit

Harlot Nuit Shifty!

I am but Me

a pining fool

for twilight,

AND…

Luna has handed me over

to the Sandman…

of dirt naps

*I sing for my life!*

I’ll forever wonder

if you found my voice

a Whelp to your Bark

glistening such Silver Dew,

IF it were  to torrent

tears of warrant

they would surely

crush me

Me, a lowly Sap

a Sing a Ling

filled with the Nightingales’

Nocturnal Airs

and so Far Out On a Limb

Sleeptalking Noir Poetry

foreshadow

I feel the reverence, Robin! I wonder why you use the acronym FOOL for yourself, though (Far Out On a Limb)? As I was reading, I sensed the intimacy between you and Her (Creation), and a mutual connection, so I was a little bit confused when I read the "fool" part, because even in our awe of Her, She is as much within us as without us. Much love to you, my friend....

"I Sing for My Life"
I think that, out the entirety of the poem, this one line struck me the most. Seri hit the nail on the head when she wrote, "Typical Robin." This is the stuff your fans have grown to love about your work, Robin. It's the ability to flash color in an otherwise colorless world. You have a true gift for imagery.

This is lovely Robin. Typical Robin that I know. It has all the facets. It's very enchanting, indeed. And the font color does something here, I think. A nice royal color to add to the playful feel of this. Good to see you back. :)
