A Poem by tMcB
"

well the first line is from "Flowers in the Attic' it was such a beautiful line i wanted to extend it.

"

Beautiful faces and lovely places.

Frantic chases and screwed up mazes.

Seeing the world beneath the grass.

Never doing what you've been asked.

The true sought face covered by a mask.

The love of life always lacked.

the lonelyness some what slacked.

feeling as if you've been smacked.

for anything and everything you've always lacked.

Life is made of twisted ways.

Made of twisted dreams.

Awaking with soul-shattering screams.

Only to augment the pain

to show you're life's strain.

In the most torturous of ways.

With only your life to pay.

with only your soul to pay.

with only your very soul at stack.

what will never make-

never break-

can only shake-

can only take

take until there is nothing left.

You only get back what you give in the long run. A nice piece of poeticprose
marredonly y a couple of typos. Your rhyming is good but your meter is all over the place

WAWWW This is awesome. My favourite book of all time, I swear, is Flowers in the Attic.....
I wouldn't have used the word "lacked" x2 in lines 6 AND 9...no offence.
Loved it....lots of powerful views here... sadness too...
Keep up good work.
