![]() The AccidentA Poem by Mica L. Bennett![]() This never happened to me but many people are victims of drunk drivers everyday. Save lives. Don't drink and drive.![]()
You promised me safety.
You promised me care. Now I'm fading fast. And I don't know where. Hazy I see crimson leaking on leather. It wasn't supposed to be this way ever. Pain pricks my spine and shoots to my head. The sight I see quick fills me with dread. I see you lay still on the red grass. Sirens get loud and arrive in big mass. This wasn't your fault. I know this is true. Come back to me. I really need you. He should have stayed home. The driver was drunk. You would still be here if he would have thunk. I miss you forever and I'll never forget. The day that you and lord Jesus had met. © 2012 Mica L. BennettReviews
