Colorless world

Colorless world

A Poem by Mica L. Bennett

Colors, colors everywhere.
Yet I see none.
My world's bare.

No sun that is bright and yellow.
Killer boring.
monster mellow.

No grass that is bold and green.
No, no blues.
Nope, not seen.

Forget the hue of roses red.
These thorny flowers
are filled with dread.

Colorless is the world I'm in.
For you it's bright
but for me it's dim.
