Lay me here

Lay me here

A Poem by Mica L. Bennett

Lay me here
on the silk.
Run hands on
my skin like milk.

Kiss my lips,
sugar sweet.
Love me from
my head to feet.

Breathe me in.
Scent like rain.
Leave all thoughts
that are in vain.

Twirl my hair,
soft and light.
Own all of me
in this tonight.

Lay me down.
Please me so.
When we're done
please don't let go.
