Goodbye Life

Goodbye Life

A Poem by Mica L. Bennett

Quiet.
Still.
Broken.
Ill.

Heart that shatters.
Sanity clatters.

Tears of
Blood.
Red they
Run.

Falling to the floor.
Can't take anymore.

Stop the
Flow.
Depression
Grows.

So more blood is shed.
A depression fed.

From wrists
Drips
The crimson,
Thick.

And I remain in dark.
Allowing blade to mark.

So I
Smile.
As I fade
A mile.

Goodbye to life.
Thanks to blade by knife.
