Autumn Song

Autumn Song

A Poem by Oh, Andrea

Wrapped in this crimson blanket of autumn

With the streets ornamented with chapped-lipped kisses

My thoughts have started to shake from my chattering teeth

Golden mosaics will lead me to winter’s doorstep

As I hold a hand that leads to a heart so captivated by my passion for words and concern for the lonely

The windows are down as the cold song of October’s breath whistles to my attentive ear

I listen but cannot return the gift

Andrea, This was short and I liked the imagery that flowed through your poem.

The windows are down as the cold song of October's breath whistles to my attentive ear.

Very good
