The three ages

The three ages

A Poem by pammy55

Take my innocence on a bus ride to the country.
Show it the blue of sky, the breeze and the night.
Pay its fare, sit it at the front
and answer all those silly little questions
it is inclined to ask.

                          -o0o-

Throw my pasty faced incredulity overboard
And watch it drift like ash over the waiting waves.
Let it go, wish it goodbye forever
and don’t let a soul ever tell you
the journey was wasted.

                          -o0o-

Wrap my wounded love in oilcloth
and place it in a box with me.
It’ll squeak a bit,
And sections may well fall off,
but remember, once it was real,
as was I.

So how come ANTO blocked thecavaliar. He hadn't even heard of him. You are an out and out liar.

As for fake profiles, you and that ANTO are the worst ever.

You're a fugging idiot Anto or Wordman or Relic... I don't even care... stop making fake profiles, it makes no sense what you are doing.

Grow the funk up punk.

I liked the poetry. Old fashion feel to the words. You took the reader on a journey of life and understanding. I did like the closing lines.
"but remember, once it was real,
as was I."
I tell people. Be kind to all people. The person near could teach us a needed listen. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. Please send read requests when you write more.
