Raving

Raving

A Poem by Pamela

the drowning is back
just as I had known it
I'm confused angry
scared
the fog
the suffocation
is this a matter of lighting and special effects
so many people packed together
or the wicked projection of my own demons
I keep going that's the only way
ignore
my head tells my heart
this is for me
me
me
its allowed to be about
me
it's coming back slowly
creeping up to me
fingers like eager flames
wrap around my hips
and we dance
I came here to dance
but not like this
not with you
he knows my head
its not right
but we keep going
faster
now slower
a passionless intensity
he grabs me tighter
warm body moving with mine
a closeness
that feels all too right
or is it wrong
vile hands want
and they touch
places that yearn
for human contact
caressing me
up and down
making me his w***e
did he know I liked it
that no one else
wanted me like that
this girl so desperate
just for a taste of warmth
