A Poem by pams poems
"

why do people all haunt others with there mistakes. express how I feel when my mistakes are used against me.

"

If a person makes one mistake does that mean u judge them on everything. If the person dose something and never got to erase it, you can’t blame them when u see it because they never got to destroy it. Yet the people in the world make them cry. Even parents, and you wonder why you daughter never tells you anything or always hides it when she meets a new person. You see the child lost your trust yes but the child could never tell you a thing so trust or no trust it doesn’t bother her.

Parents are always thinking about the negative past, so is the child, she is thinking of all the bad things that happened to her all the things she never told you, the parent and you know what she will never open up to you she will hide her tears, but always show her fake smile.

Even when that doesn’t work, she will tell you she’s fine when really she wants to runaways screaming. Wishing she was dead wishing she could run, run far away from home, as the tears roll down her face but she still can’t hide it.

Then the depression builds up and she starts harming herself she’s so depressed so lonely feeling sick and suicidal, and she still cries herself to sleep. Then she can’t take it and just wants to end it but if she does she will end up in hell.

You see kids all have feelings but parents are too stupid to notice when a kid is hiding something deep down, something

  hurtful, sad and painful

As a parent of a teenage boy this is touching. This is the reason I always take time to sit with him just to talk and listen. As i was young yet when he was born I am still young enough to remember what you are taking about. Things like this can carry on into adult hood. It is hard to overcome, but as a person that did overcome this, i have to tell you that it is the greatest feeling in the world knowing that "you" can make all the difference in "your" life. It is sad when parents are the cause of low self-esteem in the children that we should be building up and showing how to love. I am sorry you feel this way.
