Wrath

Wrath

A Poem by Pamcocoa

A flash of lightning

A bubbling simmer all ready to explode

Words spoken that shouldn’t be said

But once out there can be no return.

A hot wildfire

Burning bridges and connections in its raging path

Too late and far gone to mend.

A white blizzard

Freezing the warmest hearts

A blast of frost and ice

And a cold so frigid one must amputate what can’t be fixed.
