Secrets

Secrets

A Poem by Pamcocoa
"

This is an old poem that I wrote years ago

"
I reveal my secrets to him
in a way I haven't done ever.
I was played as a fool it's true,
Never tell secrets, they say, never.
I poured out my heart and betrayed my fears,
in return for one favor, one thing.
I wanted to know what's haunted him over the years
and his answer bit with a sting.
"Nothing I would tell people about."
He stated. A rather distant reply.
I was played, ridiculed without a doubt,
A fire rose in me hotter than a thousand suns in the sky.
