Pretty Little ThingA Poem by PamcocoaA slightly childish poem about petty envy
She's a pretty little thing
Wavy hair, great big smile. She has a way about her that makes the boys stare for a while. Forever flirting to get what she wants, I'm mind boggled at the confidence she flaunts. So, I sit from afar cautiously admiring whilst licking my wounds from the painful shots she's been firing. Envious and disdainful as I may be A part of me wants to be like her but I'm not like her at all. I've got straight hair, a moderate smile; But I lack the charm and I don't stand as tall. I'm not overtly confident, or flirtatious I don't flaunt what I have and I'm much less tenacious. Thus, forever in the background I stay, with my clothes all out of style. Forever overshadowed by pretty little things with the great big smiles.
