Rage

Rage

A Poem by Palmer Blu

Anger so deep that my blood boils

Tired of the trifles and the endless toils

Need some relief, my God where is my luck

Being slapped around by fate like a measly puck

Ravaged by the lack of control inside

Fearing myself so the beast must hide

Uncaged, set free, my Rage has been released

Compassion and kindness have suddenly ceased

No meditation, no task, nothing helps

This RAGE is born from these constant yelps

Howl to the sky, animalistic by nature

The furiousity of my anger no match for nature

Can I find myself or am I lost for good

A savage beast, armed with madness, roams the wood

Primal energy, back to square one

Surveying the damage that this RAGE has done
