Friend Gone

Friend Gone

A Poem by Palmer Blu
"

Apparently going through everything together means nothing. All the laughs, smiles, and even frowns have faded. You realize that your friend is nowhere in sight....Just-Gone.

"

Interesting it is that you find me the blame

Wasn’t it you who put this friendship to shame

Never keeping your word and leaving me out

But when it was my turn to do the same you wanted to pout

Wrong of me it was to keep you in my dreams

When on the constant basis you kept me out of things

Ventures we had planned together with each other

I found you doing with this person and another

Apparently I was the thing of the past

Because whenever I called you made me last

Heartbroken felt because you were my friend

But I guess you figured it was time for it to end

So through and through we had a good run

Laughing and talking and having great fun

But right at this moment you written a scroll

My poker face sucks so it’s time that I fold
