Luminosity

Luminosity

A Poem by Nina C Palmer
"

noun: the quality of being luminous; emitting or reflecting light Science has proven that everything, including us, is made from the birth of a star

"

We are stars.

Made of the finest dust

Composed of diamond

And assorted stones

From across the universe

Our souls wind, swirl

And smolder of cosmic fume

Bound by our mortal flesh

Just as the sun brings forth light

As every star that shimmers

In the dark of night

So have we the power and strength

To take siege of our destined fate

Pour out of our bodies

With the most boundless light

That penetrates the night sky

Like shooting starlight

For we are all made of stars

But it is up to us

Whether or not we

Shine

Not what I believe, but what I know is that reality is free for us to determine. It has its conditions, it has its rules, it has its laws, which we're repeatedly subject to, however within that frame of mechanical operation we're limitlessly free to advance - to repeatedly improve.

That's what you yourself, in your own form of expression have just said Nina.

I haven't forgotten reading your 'Through the Trees' series. This follows in that tradition:

Beautiful; magnificent; wonderful (remember!)

I liked that reply - I feared it might have just been a 'thank you', with then nothing more.

Thank you very much!
The irradiance glowing here transported me straight out there (points with index finger) even though there are references and relationships between the influences of this radiance to human nature the interesting side of it is the aspect of choice. This choice for me felt full of unquestionable hope and as such it left my looking up towards the universe longing.

Thankyou Nina C Palmer
