Listening to people's lies
Watching how time flies
Someways just don't shine
Can't you see I'm not fine
Into the shadows I go
Death may have me lie below
Yet everyone will still be hard as stone
And as of now I am alone
Since no one understands
Everyone seems to shout demands
Never will anyone see my pain
Since people see me easy to reign
I am sick of everyone's show

So many people live inside their own heads and forget that there are other people with their own troubles right beside them. I've felt this lack of empathy from others too, and I've likely shut myself in my own head too! Sometimes one just has to rest in the shadows for a bit to regain energy.
