Temporary

Temporary

A Poem by Bliss in Sorrow

A moment of joy that passed in a jiffy,
And the beaming smile that didn't last long.
The ecstatic eyes that now shed tears,
And the elated heart which is now pounding little.

When everything appears like a fairy tale,
But the moment you touch, everything fades.
When you are on cloud nine with the touch of someone holding your hand.
But in a blink of eye, that angel becomes a stranger all again.

There is a storm of questions that inhabit my mind
Should we be grateful for the temporary stay?
Or grumble about the loved ones going away?

I wish the dream world becomes reality of my life
And every hand I hold, stays with me lifetime.

We get one go at this game called life
Then it’s into next life whatever that may be whatever you believe
I feel like the game of monopoly there’s only a few chance and get out of jail cards given
Yes make the most of each day
Love your poem

We must learn to appreciate the beauty of the moment and take happiness from the now. Life is transient and forever in change. Tomorrow is a dream and yesterday, a memory, but now is a gift, which is why we call it the "present". A wonderful poem. I enjoyed.

The only constant is change. Perhaps understanding that and not resisting it is the secret to life on the material plane.
