TemporaryA Poem by Bliss in Sorrow
A moment of joy that passed in a jiffy,
And the beaming smile that didn't last long. The ecstatic eyes that now shed tears, And the elated heart which is now pounding little. When everything appears like a fairy tale, But the moment you touch, everything fades. When you are on cloud nine with the touch of someone holding your hand. But in a blink of eye, that angel becomes a stranger all again. There is a storm of questions that inhabit my mind Should we be grateful for the temporary stay? Or grumble about the loved ones going away? I wish the dream world becomes reality of my life And every hand I hold, stays with me lifetime.
