'Humble-Me'

'Humble-Me'

A Poem by pal11
"

here's a poem about a girl who is very full of energy and wants to make the world a better... here she says what she actually want in returns...

"
i sometimes wish to go to a place
where i couldn't find a single soul...
except for me.

life is such miserable
it's hard to live but be able
to live for the world...
except for me.

i stole the berries, i'd fun
and in the group of allies, i'd made pun
which was about none from the world...
except for me.

friends say my heart is limitless
parents say my brain is boundless
for what i know are just praises
because no one knows my worlds has many faces...
except for me.

i'd heard Cinderella
i dreamt like 'Viola'
but couldn't reach for the dreams
because i toiled for them
who mistook me as a honey-bee...
except for me.

here i'm watching the setting sun
now sorrow and pain tied away in bun
for from this night i'm new and planned
and sun wants me to be glanced
for ages or so, God only knows how many
until i toil for every single penny
and give away as much as i can
for every needy and homeless infant...
except for me.

life will go on and i'll be pleased
to donate to the people in all the fields
to make them to yield rich crops of immortal glories
and make them admired by many of their allies.
this will be the only day
on which i'll smile my way
to see the whole globe progress smoothly...
except for me.

then only i shall breathe my last
on this Earth, for the Heaven will call me at last
in it's majestic embrace where i'll wear a tee
signed innocently as a 'Humble-Me'!
