You Came Back To Me

You Came Back To Me

A Poem by pal11
"

This is a poem by a young girl whose lover broke up with her earlier. But she knew that all this break-up was a lie. This is how she expresses her feelings and what happens whe he returns to her.

"
show me the way
show me that light
oh, where am i suppose to be?
you came to me
to tell me a lie
how i knew it already

you can never hide a thing form me
i know that you can't ever lie this
and you're suppose to be by my side
but there you go away...

oh, what was that i did?
to make you run from me
from the charming days
of the time of our glee

i frowned as i sat
and watched the sea
the waves were dull
like what all was i could feel

oh, dear, just tell me what i did
to feel this heartache and pain
to keep me screaming your name
at the bedtime at nights

and then i saw you
walking towards me
a guilt on your face
telling me something
that we were meant to be
all the same we were
no matter what lie
came in between us

i smiled at you
at which you grinned
and stopped my world
making you its center

my smile faded
and i felt goosebumps
when you touched me,
your eyes filled with absolute glee

you leaned down for a kiss
pushing me towards bliss
completely proving the disbelief
that you came back to me.
