The True Me

The True Me

A Poem by Britteny

You have seen the true me

This wasn't meant to be

It was under lock and bind

Hoping no one would look to find

That through my image smart

Is a love sick soul drawing hearts

I did giggle and laugh and shout

You did look around and about

No one will ever discover

Who's in my mind left to hover

The one I write this of

For my mind is up and above

The one's whose eyes will fall

But I'm at your beck and call

For you know of a secret deep

And I hope to yourself you keep

Never ever to tell

Cause I don't know you very well

But yet you've seen my soul

A line of fire lighted hot as coal

So I will admit that your the boss

I submit to one intellegent much

That all secrets will stay hushed
